Membership to the Greener Camping Club and why?
We are situated in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, which is a wonderfully unspoilt area due to limited development through tight planning control. As a result we are only able to operate as a GCC members only site. This means we have an obligation to ensure all guests are members of the issuing authority namely the Greener Camping Club. The good news is we can join you up for just £ 12.00 for the year. This is non-refundable in the event of cancellation for any cause what so ever.
Payments
Bookings must be secured by a non-refundable deposit (25% of total booking fee).
The remaining 75% is then due 4 weeks prior to your arrival date.
Cancellation of Changes by You
If you have paid in full and cancel your booking more than 42 days from arrival date, we will refund you 75% of your overall booking fee. the 25% deposit is not refundable. For cancellations received within 42 days of the rental date, the full rental charges shall apply. If you have any concerns over this, please take out holiday insurance.
Cancellation or Changes by Us
Once we have confirmed your booking we will do our very best not to make any changes to your booking or to cancel it. Sometimes though changes do occur before and after bookings have been confirmed, and occasionally confirmed bookings have to be cancelled. We promise to do all we can to avoid changes and cancellations but must reserve the right to do so. If we have to cancel we will offer you a full and speedy refund of all monies you have paid to us.
Beavers Retreat are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events ("Force Majeure"). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.
Beavers Retreat reserve the right to cancel a booking on short notice in the event of extreme weather or in the unlikely event that we cannot provide safe accommodation.
Cancellation in the event of COVID-19 infection
What happens if you have to cancel your booking for any of the following reasons:
You or a member of your party have a positive Covid-19 test
You or a member of your party have to self-isolate due to contact with a Covid-19 sufferer
You or a member of your party develop Covid-19 symptoms and are awaiting test result
Your area is put into a localised lockdown - that means you will be breaking the law if you travel.
If any of the above apply then the ‘Cancellation by You’ clause will apply. As a business we can not afford to lose out on this. If you have any concerns please take out appropriate holiday insurance.
COVID-19 Forced Closure
If, as a result Government restrictions on campsites we are forced to close, and cancel your holiday. You will be entitled to a gift voucher to any amount of money that you have paid. You can then use this voucher against a future stay with us. The voucher is valid for 1 year from our original booking dates.
Consideration for Others
This is a peaceful, quiet campsite for the enjoyment of nature. We do not allow any speakers or amplified music that can be heard off anyones pitch, and only quiet talking is permitted after 10pm. Noisy visitors who persistently disturb other guests will be asked politely to leave, without refund (this has happened once).
Check In & Out Times
Check-In is 3pm on the day of your arrival.
Check-Out time is no later than 10am.
Recyling and Rubbish
A condition of camping here is that you separate glass, cans, plastic, paper, cardboard etc. placing them in the special bins provided. What is left, ie. anything that is not recyclable can be placed in the landfill bin. We want you to visit our beautiful area and leave as small a footprint on nature as possible.
Toilets & Showers
Each pitch has its own allocated toilet, which is cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. It is up to you to keep this clean once you arrive. The 3 showers are shared between the 10 pitches, and these are cleaned daily by our cleaning staff.
Accidental Damages
Should any significant damage or breakage occur, other than acceptable wear and tear, a charge for replacement may be made. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning where a dome has been left in an unacceptable condition, through waste, litter, interference in the structure, movement of furniture and contents etc. Guests will be held responsible for any fire, smoke or general damage, or alteration to the structure caused by negligence.
Smoking Policy
All the tent structures and all the undercover facilities are strictly NO SMOKING. If you smoke, do it outside and dispose of your cigarette ends in the campfire or bin. Thanks.
Children
By booking and coming to Beavers Retreat, you agree to be responsible for your children and animals and children or animals in your care, and your own welfare and to take all reasonable precautions against personal injury, injury to others and damage to facilities and the bell tents & Geodomes. Children must be supervised at all times with the hot tub, and stoves, firepits & BBQ’s.
We take every care to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable holiday, but cannot be held liable for any accidents or consequential loss.
Dog Policy
We accept well behaved dogs in our XL Domes & Eco Domes only. Please only bring your dog with you if it well behaved, does not bark loudly and consistently. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when on site.
Property Loss
Beavers Retreat Glamping cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen property. We have never had an incidence of theft and we very much hope we never do.

When booking, you accept that you have read and agreed to the hot tub disclaimer here.
We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions, prices or website without notice to read over these.
